Resurrect discussion: Mixing 32 and 64 bit distro

I can only maintain 32bit packages as I have no w64.
I doubt that most packages have both.

Those who do may favor a unified approach, but practically I would prefer
if someone else will maintain the 64 bit variants for my packages, which
looks like a seperate distro approach to me.
